Michael Urbanski, a senior at Salpointe Catholic High, placed second in the Division 3 boys championship race at the Arizona Interscholastic Association state final at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Urbanski covered the 5-kilometer layout in 15:58.2 to help Salpointe Catholic finish second overall with 124 points.
