Taliyah Henderson, a freshman at Salpointe Catholic High, won the Division 3 girls 800-meter title in 2:21.60 at the Arizona Interscholastic Association State Championships at Mesa Community College. Henderson led a Salpointe Catholic sweep of the top two spots with junior teammate Kylie Wild (2:23.28).
